We are a group of people passionate about finding innovative ways to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle. The Peebee app is a platform that makes it easier to find physical activity options in your area, puts you in touch with appropriately qualified trainers, and has various functionalities designed to help you stick to the positive changes that you make.

One of the apps is for approved trainers, and the other is for members of the public.

Yes! All critical information is encrypted and no personal information is stored on your mobile device. However, mobile devices do offer you the ability to store your login information for apps installed on the device. If you choose to store your login information, any person who has access to your mobile device can access your account.

The Mobile App and the Mobile Web App give you the ability to access your account information; search for, view and book group classes and personal trainers, review classes that you have attended, engage with the Peebee Steps, share fitness information and contact us via email.

Once you have installed the Peebee App on your phone, you'll also have access to the website portal using the same log-in details.

The Peebee Steps are a collection of tasks and principles which help you to maintain a healthy lifestyle over the longer term. They were written by psychologist Clinton Gahwiler, and are based both on the scientific literature and on 20+ years of applied experience in helping people to make positive lifestyle changes. With your help and feedback, the Peebee Steps are constantly being reworked and deepened, with a view to making them ever more helpful.

No. Our Mobile App is completely free to download and install. You will only have to pay for the classes that you book. Peebee derives income as a percentage of the trainers’ earnings from these classes.

Classes

Simply find a class you are interested in attending and book the class. If the class is full the application will prevent you inform you the class is full and prevent you from going to payment.

Peebee has nothing to do with the class pricing. The carefully screened trainers that offer activities on our platform decide the prices of their own classes.

We only list activities by appropriately qualified, reliable trainers. Any trainers are able to apply to Peebee to become registered to offer classes on our platform. They are however screened on our behalf by the Sports Science Institute of South Africa(SSISA). Any trainers that feature on the Peebee platforms have been approved by SSISA as meeting the Peebee criteria.

Peebee is starting in a small part of Cape Town and growing organically from there. That said, you are welcome to make a request for an activity in your area. Local trainers can then make a corresponding offering. If there are enough requests in a ‘new’ area and trainers are not responding to them quickly enough, we will actively source local trainers and prompt them….

Simply go to the Request tab on the Peebee application and select the Plus + sign on the bottom right corner of the screen. you can make your class request from there.

In your Calendar view, select the class then Question mark? at the bottom-right field. You will find the Reschedule option there. You may only reschedule to the same class with the same trainer at a future date on the schedule.

In your Calendar view, select the class then Question mark ?at the bottom-right field. You will find the contact support option there. You will need to contact support to cancel a class. Please note that a cancellation fee of 10% applies.

If you cancel a class within 24 hours no refund is applicable, the Trainer will be paid for this session. Should you cancel before 24 hours that a refund can be processed, upon request, less the 10% cancellation.

Queries & Support

It is not obligatory for you to add this information. We do however encourage it so that your trainer has a better idea of who will be attending, and how to tailor the class intensity accordingly. This information is only viewable by…. ?

Currently, only VISA and MASTERCARD payments are supported. Other payment options are being added on an on-going basis.

Yes, we use Peach Payments to secure all card payments.

It is important that trainers understand the physical condition, fitness levels, and the basic types of their class attendees, prior to the start of the class to allow them to appropriately prepare the class. Your name, BMI, age range (not specific age), indicated medical conditions and/or injuries, and activity levels are shared with the class instructor for these purposes.

Currently, only booking communications can occur via the app.

No, not at this point but we will soon launch a voucher system to allow you to invite others to attend classes with you.
